That sir is a prohibited trap.
Prohibited Plumbing Traps
Obsolete or illegal plumbing trap types:
Bell trap, Crown-vented trap, Drum trap, Moving parts trap, Non-integral trap, S trap
The cast iron hub and spigot soil pipe T fitting looks to be corroded coming out of the soil. It you tapped on it with the handle of a hard plastic cased screwdriver the sound would reveal if the cast iron was flaking in layers like an onion due to the low pitch sound.
