What is require to perform a verbal inspection according to the guideline rules?

NACHI "Standards of Practice" Section 1, Article 1.3 reads as follows:

"An Inspection report shall describe and identify in written format the inspected systems, structures, and components of the dwelling and shall identify...."

If you look to the left you will see sections in the Dark Blue Area for Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. Hopfully this will better explain NACHI Practices.

In most states a verbal agreement is null and void - worthless.

I think that is what I do after I do an inspection when I do my closing thoughts. As far as any type of legal document ---> if it is not written it has not happened.
