Verbiage for an old Heat Pump

I don’t recall any one posting that they recommend replacing a unit because of its age. Most with any common sense knows a unit can fail at any moment, or next week or next month or next year. I had a furnace and A/C unit yesterday that was 31 years old and still operating fine. But I did tell my clients that both have exceeded an average life expectancy for that type of equipment and recommended they budget for replacement in the future…

When was the last time you parked your car and the next morning it did not start. Geez it failed while it was just setting there. :wink:
