Can anyone confirm that vinyl siding around a door can get discolored due to lack of flashing and water getting behind the vinyl? Looks like a 2-3 inch band around the door that is darker than the rest of the siding.
The door jamb is also rotted badly at the bottom on a 5 year old house.
No evidence of termites there. I think water is getting in there from the top.
