The upcoming VP moderator just happens to have a new book coming out about
the “Age of Obama”.
What a joke.

What a joke.
Correct John WND or Wing Nut Daily is a joke, who reads that crap?
I am sure that this moderator wiil be fair and impartial  but… Sara Palins first words should be…
I want to CONGRATULATE you on writing a book on:
Quote:
“shedding new light” on Democratic candidate **Barack Obama **and other “emerging young African American politicians” who are “forging a bold new path to political power.”
End Quote:
Who cares. If people are going to vote on race or age or gender their minds are already made up. It is a joke to have to take Sara to a training session for a week ahead of time to be able to answer the questions without being made fun of in the news media. The public is scared McCain is going to die and she will become the new president. She might be a very capable candidate but not at present. It worrys me that it may be the same with Obama. The way I look at it is that I personally cannot watch my 401 keep shrinking. I have spent 40 years building it and had invested very diversified and safely. Now it is half of what it was a year ago. That scares me and I am in better shape than most of my friends. I should have bought gold and buried it in the yard like people did a hundred years ago. John McCain is probally the best qualified to run this country except I will be broke the way he would run it and the rich will keep getting richer and the middle class will disappear.
For crying out loud, how many times do you flaming liberals have to shove that “Palin is a heartbeart (literally) away from being President” talking point down everybodys’ throats? Your party is rallying behind a Washington novice who hasn’t accomplished a damn thing and his running mate is a walking gaffe machine. Hell, the walking gaffe machine put it best when asked about Obama’s experience-
“The presidency doesn’t lend itself to on-the-job training”
All this focus on Palin’s inexperience is DNC hypocracy at its worse. I never thought Bill Clinton could be topped in this department …
All Presidents had “on the job” training when they first entered the office.
Being a Senator, or a Congressman, or even Vice President does not offer the training for properly handling the issues that come with the office.
“Being there” is the only training the new President will have. What one might imagine as the duties of the President evaporate when the time comes to react.
The question then becomes–who is best equipped mentally and emotionally to respond to a given circumstance?
And Obama’s experience growing into his political career…
**Body count. **In the last six months 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago, 221 killed in Iraq.
Sens. Barack Obama & Dick Durbin, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., Gov. Rod Blogojevich, House leader Mike Madigan, Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan, Mayor Richard Daley…our leadership in Illinois…all Democrats.
Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago. Of course they’re all blaming each other.
Can’t blame Republicans, they’re aren’t any!
State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country.
Cook County (Chicago) sales tax 10.25% highest in country.
Chicago school system one of the worst in country.
(Look’em up if you want).
This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois.
He’s gonna ‘fix’ Washington politics?
(This is the community he has organized.)
I’m voting for Sarah Palin for President, forget the VP stuff…!
I have never read why anyone on the forum is proud of Obama… hmmm.
But, I can understand why.
I think it is probably better to leave Gwen Ifill in as moderator at least then when Palin lays an egg y’all will have something to blame it on. :p:D:mrgreen:
Problem is we will continue to vote them back into office here in Illinois?
