I had no trouble with airbnb here in MN. There’s an option to view the total price before taxes, and the service fee that was added was because I opted for the late cancelation protection.

IMO… you know you are being scammed when you have to OPT IN to see your total fee!!

I wouldn’t necessarily call it “opting in”, it’s more of a filter when you’re searching for places, but I get where you’re coming from!
