Want website exposure?

For those NACHI members who want to improve their web rankings and web exposure and for those who thrive for continuous internet business, I have the perfect individual that?ll get you all these benefits.

First let me tell you all, that I?ve only had my site up and running for approximately six months now and I?ve only been in business for a mere four months and my web site has a Google PR rank of 4 already and it always appears on the first page of Google and Yahoo under the keywords ?Massachusetts Home Inspection?. Being in these web positions, my phone rings continuously.

You?re probably asking yourself, how in the world did he do it in such a short time??? Well, there?s only one individual that is responsible for my incredible rankings and web site exposure and I thank for her incredible fantastic computer skills and SEO know-how. And that is Roberta Dulay from http://www.yalia.com/

Roberta completed designing my web site this past January. She then gave me a lot of tips and advice on how to properly improve my web rankings and SE optimization throughout the year. I?ve been performing the steps (that she gave me) on a daily basis while she systematically worked on her end performing her SEO skills. I now rank higher than my competitors in my area that have been in business for years.

So, if you?re seeking to be in the top positions on the internet, I highly recommend Roberta to perform her magic for you. She does honor discounts to all NACHI members.

She can be contacted by email at rainmaker@yalia.com or visit her website at http://www.yalia.com

Give it a shot, it?ll definitely work. My site is proof.

Yes, but I think David signed a non-compete agreement with a former employer which kept him from going into business for himself for some time. At least that is what I remember him saying on this mb last year.

Thank you for clarifying Nick.

Yes Erby...I started my inspecton career with a local HI company here (which the State requires) in November of '02'. I finally decided to go on my own in March of this year.

As far as the no-compete contract, I signed a contract that stated that I could not work for other Hi companies or start my own HI company for a period of one year after I left my employ. I talked to Nick about this and took his advice and breached my contract with my past employer. I started my own business. As Nick stated to me months ago, no-compete contracts do not hold up in court and it's a free Enterprise here in the U.S.....Anyone can open their own business.

Look at me now. My past employer never attempted to bring up a lawsuit over my signed contract. Which brings me to announcing (to everyone) a loophole that can be avoided. For those of you who signed no-compete contracts with their Employer's (in order to get properly trained as an HI), don't allow that no-compete contract to get in your way.

Get your State required training and when you feel comfortable in going on your own, Go For It.

I couldn't agree more. Roberta helped me with my site and she was great! I have been meaning to write a post thanking her, but fortunately I've been too busy. I recommend Roberta and Yalia Tech. to anyone looking for a quality website at a reasonable price.

, if this objection is introduced, offer to enter into a separate agreement that supersedes the original agreement. In consideration for the release from the non-compete, declare that you will agree not to take any customers, secrets or employees. This is legal, gets your boss off the hook, and gives him an additional incentive to accept your offer.

Hi all,

Just wanted to drop in and clarify something regarding Nick's earlier post that Search Engine Optimization is free through NACHI and Yalia Technology Design (http://www.nachi.org/searchenginesubmission.htm)

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process by which you make your web site targeted to specific keywords (for example, home inspection) so that when a web site user types those keywords into Google or another search engine, your site is returned as a top result.

Search Engine Submission is the act of submitting your web site to the various search engines and directories, so that hopefully your site will be listed on them sooner rather than later. Note that many of the searchbots will pick up your site eventually whether or not you physically submit it, but this does help to expedite the process.

We offer free Search Engine Submission services to all NACHI members, and provide you with an overview report of the search engines you were submitted to, along with some quick recommendations on how you can improve your rankings based on a review of your site and code. To sign up for this free service, visit http://www.homeinspectionwebsite.com/seo.php

We also offer a low cost Search Engine Optimization analysis and report to NACHI members - for $25, we will actually go through your site in detail and provide you with an in-depth keyword ratio analysis and site-specific recommendations which have been proven over time to improve your Google PageRank (PR) and rankings.

Finally, we also offer full service SEO packages, where we take care of all the work to get your site from a PR0 to a PR4+ over a course of months, and hourly consulting services if you'd prefer to do-it-yourself.

Since this appears to be a topic of interest, I'd like to invite you all to post your search engine related questions directly in this forum and I'll try to respond to questions as they come in.

Cheers,

Roberta

I’m sure Roberta does wonderful work. Unfortunately I got a lot of s#!t form her when I complained on a area that is not members only. I have been waiting over a month for this “free” service. For a while I thought I might have been bumped out of the Que because I was a "squeaky wheel until I found others who have been waiting for 2 months.

It's good to hear that the work that's done is top notch. I'd be willing to go for the extra services that there is a charge for if I had confidence in Roberta's ability to produce.

There seems to be some confusion over whether this is a "free service" that is provided as a members benefit (It is listed under "Membership Benefits") or a "free service" given to us as a gift by Yalia.

I would hope that Yalia is being appropriately compensated by NACHI for the services provided members for free, and there is some accountability involved. Otherwise there are members who have been left flailing in the wind over this.

David,

Good things come to those who wait.

I'm sure Roberta is very busy with what's on her plate at any given time.

She tries to satisfy everybody, but it can't happen overnight.

You must have patience with her as the quality of her work is definitely worth the wait. I've experienced the same thing you are experiencing, when I had her designing my site, but in the long run, I'm very happy with her work and her professional computer savvy and skills.

As far as her obtaining compensation from NACHI, that's none of my business.

If you want speed, you're better off going to another designer. But I guarantee that Roberta will make you one happy customer if you could just hang in there.

I'm willing to wait a reasonable period for a good service as long as I'm kept in the loop of the status and timeline. I think 1 to 2 months is a bit out of line, but I might have been willing to wait that long if there was a reasonable level of communication. Unfortunately that has simply not been the case here.

Here’s a tip. PR from google means just about nothing.

I have a PR4 site that doesn’t list in the top 1000 for it’s keywords. I also have a PR4 site that ranks in the top 3 for it’s keywords, and they are the same keywords. Content is everything. So is link exchange as far as google is concerned. You can also be penalized by google and still keep your PR, which is what happened to my other site I believe. I still am not sure exactly what the penalty was about, but it dropped out to no mans land in a hell of a hurry!

Your site's current Google PR is 4. To improve your site's search engine

your site's metatags: home inspection, NACHI certified home inspector, Nick
Gromicko, NACHI, home inspector, qualified home inspector, building inspector,
inspection report, buyer's inspector.
- Review your web site's content to ensure it is relevant to the keywords you
selected. Additional free content for your web site is available at
