Looks like the home had very limited storage area And where far from being a neat house keeper.
I was thinking when I first started looking for it maybe they had a tankless tucked away somewhere. When I found it I was thinking no way that cabinet supports that thing. They have put in an internal support rod anchored in the attic. Yes there is limited space in the tiny garage. Bet that plumber earns his money on a replacement.
What was the size of that thing? Being electric and all, may not be adequately sized based on the home size, appliances, usage, etc.
Sure hope the bottom panel of that cabinet was reinforced also. Those cabinets don’t have much of a bottom…some just use a few cam locks in particle board.
