This photo shows the results of an outside basement stairwell drain not being able to withstand the volume of water. The gutters have been clogged and the 25 ft span of gutter is dumping the rain water directly down into the cellar way and not making it to the downspout, thus overwhelming the cellar drain,coming over the threshold and into the basement. The efflorescence is evident around the door and the rotted door jamb has been cut away and caulked.
