I’m just starting to do Home Inspections on a part-time basis. I live in south central PA near the MD border so I’m planning to do inspections in both PA and MD.


While MD doesn't yet have any overall reqirements in order to be a home inspector, I've been told that a person must be certified in MD in order to draw water for a water test? Is that true?

If true, how does one go about getting certified and where?

You should check with your local water company, county health department, and/or purchase a water testing kit.
