I made a personal donation to fund a Halloween Party on Mischief Night. The party was for young (but loose) inner-city children who had no where to go. They asked me who to credit for the donation so I said NACHI just in case any good press would come of it. Well it did.


They wrote an article about it and ran it for Thanksgiving (page 4). The article ends "Also a very special thank you to Nick Gromicko of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors for that beautiful donation. It is very nice to know that people care when it comes to doing something for the youth."

I thought so. It ran right above an article about using the internet to shop for everything and the ease of shopping online instead of going to the mall on Black Friday. Perfect.


If anyone is making a private donation this holiday season, but is too humble to take credit for it, say it is from the home inspectors at NACHI. What goes around comes around.
