We're fed up and we're not gonna take it anymore.

It will be interesting to see what level of coverage these “Tea Parties” get from the media…

I’m betting this is going to be big…find one in your neck of the woods,
and speak out…

And I bet there’ll be little coverage by the mainstream media…

I’ll take that bet. $100 says if this is indeed “big”, it will be all over the mainstream media.

Only if there is violence or other tom foolery by infiltrates.
The left is nervous.

Probably because citizens are trying their own tactics.

You want in on the bet too? I have $100 on no violence, still media coverage.

What page will it be on?

I take that as a no.

A small piece in section D page 6 is not coverage Kevin.

And yes that would be no.

The press is in the tank for Obama and they will not willingly provide big coverage for those who are against his tax ans spend socialistic agenda unless it can be used to discredit the tea party attendees.

This is not about the political right.

It is about those of us who are becoming more and more certain that our country is changing foundationally and heading down the wrong road.

Your probably right about that Kev…although I hear that some left
radical groups are planning on infiltrating same to give conservatives a bad name.

The best protest a person can make is by voting…independently and not swearing allegiance to a specific party.

I think this guy nailed it!

Dear Mr. President,

Patriotic retirement:
There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force - Pay them
$1 million apiece severance with the following stipulations:

  1. They retire immediately. Forty million job openings - Unemployment
    fixed.
  2. They buy NEW American cars. Forty million cars ordered - Auto
    Industry fixed.
  3. They either buy a house or pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis
    fixed.
It can’t get any easier than that!

P.S. If more money is needed, have all members in Congress and their
constituents pay their taxes…

40 TRILLION DOLLARS??? Not clever.

And as for Tea Parties, who the frig drinks tea???

Now that’s some debt.

I’ll take my million now and leave all the inspecting fun to the rest of you young pups.

Just trying to help out.

I heard that in ten years the federal deficit will be 100% of the GDP, how’s that for debt?

Aw… what am I thinking, we won’t be in debt…and he did not bow to that guy! People on the right are just seeing things!

But, where does the government get the $40.000,000,000,000.00 to make the payout. That is 40 Trillion dollars. Or, about 4 Trillion more that the GDP.

The answer, out of your pocket.

And, in reality, the country is bankrupt.

I do. Want to make something out of it?

You guys need to watch the video link I posted here:

Thread drift, thread drift!

I posted this just to cause awareness of the meetings happening all across the U.S. for April 15th…
nothing more,

no bets, no threats of violence, just information… Interesting video Joe, thanks.

You brought up betting. I just wanted you to put your money where your mouth was. Seems your not so confident in your words.

Beware how you bet, Kevin.

At the first Tea Party in Cincinnati there were more the 5000 people in attendance–and only one (really, just one) dissenter. And she got all the media coverage, including the regular array of distorted facts and half-truths. I was within 20 feet of the dissenting lady as she walked around holding up an Obama campaign poster and calling out his name. Few paid much attention to her except to tell her to “get a job”.

The TV reporter, of course, feared for her life…feared for his life…feared A-bombs would rain down upon on the news media…whatever…anything except what actually happened.

The news reporters will never let the truth stand in the way of a good story.

The only thing the mainstream media will report will be the left-wing opposition activities.
