What about these tools?

Hey Guys,

Following up on my previous question?

I was thinking I would carry the following "stuff": 25' tape, screwdriver, awl, volt ticker, GFI tester, magnifying glass (it's an eye thing!), Mag light, mini mag light, digital camera, digital thermometer, Gerber multitool. digital voice recorder.

Does this sound reasonable?

Any additions/deletions?

Thanks!

Kip,

The awls are nice but if you are really serious you should grab yourself a long screwdriver, preferable two feet to reach into the rim band joist especially when they go far back and/or are high up and hard to reach.

Awls have a tendency to get stuck in the wood, rotted or not. If you are really serious I guess you could always grind the head off the screwdriver and the screwdrivers are much cheaper.
