Rafael,

Something tells me that collector should be in the un-tiled area on the roof.

Is this a work in progress? Hard to tell without seeing it in person.

I just gotta know eusa_think.gif

#1 is a solar panel as others have said. Question the wisdom of putting it over the patio cover but I can’t see it from my house.

#2 is a whole house fan. Never seen one in a crawl space. That is a new one on me. Normally you find it located in the attic with the motor activated louvers in the ceiling (normally in a central location like a hallway). Used to be very popular before AC. All you had to do was crack all the windows, crank on the fan and it would pull outside air in drawing all the hot stale air inside the house up into the attic, then out through gable vents or roof vents, cooling off the attic at the same time. Aren't worth a flip in humid areas cause it pulls moist outside air into the home but worked great in spring and fall or arid areas. Either that or they are building a hover craft in the crawl and plan to meet the mother ship soon.

pic. 2 is to transform the house into a hover craft.

Picture#2 - not sure what this fans function but a contractor would be sued installing a positve air radon mitigation system,[could leak at the joints and possibly raise levels in the living space], probaply a bad idea for whole house fan for the same reason.
