the ones running along joists or through them in the attic and or basment arent any more protected. I dont get it.
1-High or negative soil
2-Missing GFCI
3-Missing hose bib anti-siphon valves
4-Missing air-gap/high loop on DW
5-Leaks at the sink pivot rods
Here’s my top 5 in no particular order
Cracked or slid roofing tile(s)
Loose toilet at flange
Inoperable Smoke detector(s)
GFI replacement or upgrade
Garage door safety devices
Also very common are:
Exposed wiring
TPR piping issue
Service panel issue
Siding issue
Drainage issue
Air gap issue at DW
Most common defects…
Roofing / Structure
Plumbing
Electrical
HVAC
Grading / Drainage
Specific defects???, that’s why I show up and inspect the entire structure, while leaving assumptions in my truck.
