As many of you know, I’ve been working for quite some time on a way for our members to create and manage their own websites through a simple what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) editor, much like Microsoft Word. That system is still in development, but I expect to have a version that NACHI chapters and our committees can use to maintain their own sites up by the end of August.
That said, I'd like to know a little about what people like and dislike about the way they're currently managing their website. A little over a third of our members have a website. Give me some feedback. ![icon_smile.gif](upload://b6iczyK1ETUUqRUc4PAkX83GF2O.gif)

I use Word to save any items and text as an HTML web page, and be sure to save backups of the index.html page to be reposted into the directory when needed.
I can make changes in minutes using this method. I just need a little help when it comes to layouts. It is not difficult to save a popular site and revise it as your own.
PS: Chris please put this beerchug image into the NACHI area for others to use:

Chris, I like the way my site is maintained. You set it up for me. If I want to change a word, picture, or page, I go in with my passcode and make the changes. When I want to do something above my simple skills, I pay you to do it. That works really well for me. You have always given me good service at a fair price.

I use MS-Frontpage.
What I like:
Works offline.
Keeps the site well organized.
Keeps track of links, updates changed links, etc.
Has auto-thumbnail feature for creating client photo pages.
What I don't like:
Debugging.
Having to be creative writing copy, picking fonts, graphics, etc.
Uploading client reports.
