What do you do?

Today’s inspection was a lesson in patience. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, had a baby/toddler proof lock on it.

It got me thinking, what do other inspectors do when faced with baby-proof devices?

I remove them and put them back, but I could completely understand the idea of saying “provide access or I will not inspect it”. If you don’t put a baby-proofing device back correctly and a child is injured I’m certain the lawsuits would fly like crazy.
