It looks like hard water build up from a water leak? The picture is hard to see. did you run the water above the drain, and was it leaking?

waste pipe leaks do self-seal themselves over time. They were leaking at one time and there are no signs of repair.


A plumber needs to evaluate and estimate costs of repair.
