Looks like loose fill wool but I’ve never seen it here in Florida. Any ideas?

Inspectopedia says it is higher r value than fiberglass. Also less strain on the envirement to make it.

Yes, R-factor of Fiberglass batt is about 2.2-2.7 per inch and Rockwool is 3.0-3.3 per inch.

Mineral wool batts like Roxul is about 4.2 per inch.

EXPS is 5.0 per inch.
