I agree Ken, to a degree. If you are going to look at the addition of GFI’s, TPR discharge lines, Under the sink plumbing, etc… or any of the punch-list issues. I think you are just doing what you do best.
If your dealing with Structual or Environmental issues then yes don’t touch it. I also wont deal with furnace re-inspections.(after service call)
I have had many clients that thought things were fixed only to have me come through and discover nothing was done. 
Also saved some sellers from work orders that wern't completed although they were charged full price.
