When InterNACHI's insurance company settles a complaint we use this clause to protect you:

“In further consideration for this Release, all parties agree that, except as otherwise required by specific court order, statute, pre-existing contractual obligations, regulatory agency, report compliance requirements or other binding requirement of law, they will keep confidential any and all information obtained as a result of this claim. Releasors specifically agree that they will not post any information pertaining to the home inspection on any print or electronic media, including, but not limited to, social media, consumer review sites, blogs or customer review spaces. While Releasors and the Released Parties represent that this Agreement would not have been consummated absent the foregoing confidentiality covenants, Releasors and the Released Parties acknowledge that no portion of the settlement amount represents consideration for the mutual promise to maintain strict confidentiality of all the terms of this agreement. Rather, the Releasors and the Released Parties expressly have agreed that each other’s reciprocal confidentiality covenant is the sole consideration given in exchange for that of the other. Releasors also agree to refrain from posting any negative commentary, whether stated as opinion or fact, regarding the Released Parties, their services or any other aspect of their business.”
