yes sir Larry, we’ve seen quite a few of these already this year, had a builder who did not believe us lol.
we ran a water test (hose) against the siding and 2nd floor window, yep… water in basement up high on foundation wall n then of course the water runs down the wall onto floor. There WAS drywall up which hid the identifying-visual , they almost got scammed into an interior basement drainage system $$$ which of course would not have stopped the water from entering, mold etc, yes sir.
homeowners only saw, only got water puddling on floor, and almost bought the lie/scam $, very important to FIRST — IDENTIFY the actual problem (s) but what would a dirty meanie waterproofing guy know.
