Where can i get a certificate that said I’ve earned 140 credit hours for New Jersey Pre-licensing training?
Welcome back to our forum, Steven! Enjoy!
Fastreply@InterNACHI.org is the complete email, Steven.
In NJ, you have to take a 140 hour in-class training course from a NJ approved home inspector school. You will receive your certificate from that school upon completion. And then you still need to get 40 hours in the field with a licensed home inspector who is approved by NJ.
I agree with Steve. You can find approved schools on the NJ website. NJ.gov and then go to the Department of Consumer Affairs(not Community Affairs). There is a list of schools and contact information. One school is The Home Inspection School of New Jersey. They are located in Mt. Laurel. The website is HomeInspectionSchoolofNJ.com and the phone number is 856-882-9611.Good luck.
