Who Can Post The Worst Panelboad Ever Found?

Since panels are soooooooo ugly, we might as well beautiful them some. This nice job was accomplished using bougainvillea bushes, which have deadly thorns that can get to 5 inches long. And they will pierce up to the full five inches; I can speak from experience. And they are he!! to pull out when they do get deep.

I can only imagine these people having a midnight electrical emergency and, one that is taken care of, they head to the emergency room for thorn removal and, possibly, stitches to close the scratch wounds. This is a deadly bush and should not be anywhere near the panel, the gas meter, the water meter, etc. They should be planted on someone else's property where you can enjoy their beautiful flowers from a distance.

Here’s my oldest. Don’t you just love the new electric meter? MLS advertised that electric service for this 1913 home had recently been upgraded. I have to wonder what the utility service was thinking.

ROFL!

But notice the handy labelling, I mean they did go to the effort of stating which were "litz" and which were "applianz"...

Bill,

If there's that many mud tunnels in that panel, the house must've been infested.

Appears to be a cake on top of the neutral bar.![](upload://1LKzQNrN2KaEkWzWQ83NgrwoXYA.gif)

And that is exactly as I found the panels--no covers, etc. Frightening. But, then again, it is Halloween time!

Russ,

Did you notice that the one on the left is a Zinsco? Not that it really matters in this case ![icon_wink.gif](upload://ssT9V5t45yjlgXqiFRXL04eXtqw.gif)

Yeah, it looks like a Zinsco.

I did a better job when I was 10 years old than what I saw at this place.

"Nightmare on Sundown Lane" I'm going to call it.

Client was a grade-school teacher. Yeah, he's looking forward to becoming an electrician! I already found out he's walking.

Actually, maybe it is a panel board? Perhaps a poll to decide?
