Trump was a public figure for decades, then a candidate for president for a couple years, then president for 4 years, and then a candidate again for 4 years. We know about everything he is going to say and how he says it.
Kamala could simply study the 30 main points Trump will use in the debate and, with her staff’s help, create one-line zingers for each of them. Remember the “I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy. He was a friend of mine. Senator, you’re no Jack Kennedy” line? That was authored in advance of the debate based on Dan Quayle reminding everyone that he had as much experience as Jack Kennedy.
Kamala could do this for everything Trump is likely to say at the debate from golf to getting shot in the ear. She knows her opponent. We all do. This gives her a huge advantage.
I agree, and she does have some other advantages starting with she’s not an old man. The more you listen to Trump the more you realize that his mental acuity has lost a step. Of course he’ll be prepared as well but he just can’t help himself when it comes to telling lies that he thinks he’ll get away with. According to the polls it’s her race to lose so as long as she doesn’t screw up she doesn’t even need to win the debates. It should be interesting because MAGA nation has their panties waded up so tight that they can’t see what’s right in front of them.
I know Kamala, I worked with her a few times in my past carrier, and the truth is she’s not very bright. She is, however, capable of reading what someone else has prepared for her and making it sound believable. She probably could be successful if coached correctly but will be destroyed if she is ever faced with back and forth, substantive questioning.
Perhaps we will see for ourselves, “LIVE”, on September 10th on ABC as President Trump has accepted the debate date, time and channel. Now lets see if she actually shows up, and if ABC plays fairly !!
Trump’s team should pay attention to all the things she will attack about him (it’s already out there) & he should just bring them up first. This will take away or deminsh the power of the zingers. Then flip the script & get serious about beating her on policy. Each time she tries to “zing”, zing her back about zinging. “So you still have no plan to secure the border?”
If Kamala is smart she will play the vulnerable underdog presenting America with a true choice. The thing of it is that a large portion of Americans who refuse to vote could actually dominate the election if they were to turn out and exercise their right, this choice may compel people to turn out making predictions unstable.
It should be an interesting debate, but I doubt that it will be. The Prosecutor vs the Convicted Felon is pretty much a no brainer. And even though I haven’t seen much of Harris in action, what I have seen was impressive, I’m talking about the hearings with then Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Attorney General Bill Barr, and Bret Kavanaugh SCOTUS hearings to name a few.
IMO ABC should have live fact checking in place, so people know if someone is lying in real time and what they’re lying about, but I doubt Trump would go for that, for obvious reasons.
The only way Cackling Horizontal Harris can do well in any debate is if she is given the questions ahead of time to prepare for it, the questions are written in a way to benefit her and harm Trump, and she has the enormous help of the network and moderators to keep her on track and prevent her from hanging herself with her own stupidity. Well all of these conditions are expected to happen with any debate hosted by the Fake News Media stations.
I even thought it was an extreme surprise that CNN handled the debate so well. But then it was all part of the Loony Left plan to stab Oatmeal For Brains in the back and get him out! I doubt we would see a repeat of CNN’s performance on any Cackling Horizontal Harris debate!
