My husband and I have completed hands-on training to do inspecting, but Oregon requires 10 ride alongs for certification. We are willing to pay $100 per ride-along or $1,000 to get this part of our certification done. We are fine traveling out of Jackson county where we live and will be working, and have no intention of being competitive with other inspectors. Josephine, Douglas, Curry, Lane, Klamath, or really any county in Oregon works for us to drive to.
Please pass this on to any Oregon inspectors you know that might be interested in putting a grand in their pocket and passing the torch.
