If they can afford an $8 million home, they can afford $10,000 more a yr. It is the $80,000 retired homeowner that gets jacked $2000 a yr, which bothers me to the point of not being involved in mit inspections.

Not to mention the retired WWII vet getting stuck with a $3000 a year policy on a block house he paid $9000 for in 1950!!

Those sola tubes seem to be marketed in Fort Pierce as an ‘easy’ retrofit for ‘dark’ interior spaces. I cannot imagine specifying them for new construction when you could get a real, larger skylight.
