What do you all consider to calculate into the findings for Dormer windows on wind mitigation form? This home has several window dormers, however each has their own little hip roof so to speak. If they are considered “other” then between these and the small gable on the back it would qualify as an other, if the dormers are considered part of the hip then it would be considered a hip roof. Also the garage is detached, however attached with a breezeway/walkway and has a conditioned living space above the garage, would you include this in the building permiter? My leaning is to say this is in fact a hip roof, calculating just the gable on the back side (not shown in pics, sorry) by considering the entire roof area, garage included and counting the dormer windows as hip since they have a hip shape on them.
