First, I would like to apologize for the announcement being so late. I was traveling to see family for Christmas holiday.
I hope everyone had a happy Christmas.
This year was a little difficult for approving a winner of the year due to many members not following the voting rules established at the announcement of voting. Article III states Voting is limited to members who are regularly active on the forum
That wording was in there for a purpose, which is to prevent what happened a few years back where a non-active member was nominated and at the time of voting had all his outside friends that never participated on the forum come and flood the voting count which did not make it fair for the other nominees that participated and regularly active on the forum.
In view of the above, one of the Awards Committee members went through the votes to prevent this from happening again and found that one of the candidates Jun girl Kim had12 such cases of non-active members Not active 12

Defining “active” can be tricky, but a fair estimate, we considered that members who have visited the forum at least once a week over the past three months which would mean around 12 visits in total would qualify as being active. This timeframe ensures that the members are engaged and current with the ongoing discussions and activities.

I’m on the forum daily and assist when I can. I wished every member a Happy Birthday for the last few years I participate in the CCFK auctions I donate to CCFK I do the QOTW about twice a month I’m a mentor. I get about two calls a week from new NJ inspectors looking for advice.
I am truly honored to accept the Member of the Year/Gromicko Award for 2024.
