# Wire connection

This is the connection from the street to the SEC on the mast. There is no protection on the connection. This is a problem correct? It is out of the way of anyone coming in contact with. What is the requirement for this connection?

I failed to say that both hots are the same way, no tapr or protection on the connections.

99.9% of the time it is to call the POCO.

Rarely is the homeowner responsible for these connections. In fact in most cases it is illegal for them to even touch them.
