Had someone bring up a interesting comment the other day. If you are new or slow contact other inspectors and ask to do overflow work. Has anyone ever been in this situation and did you find that it worked and what type of fee was involved?
I’ve passed my overflow to other trusted inspectors and they did the job and charged what they worked out with the client.
If those are retrofit, then I doubt that there are any nails in the top of the hanger. They appear to serve no purpose.
Lots of my first inspections were from the overflow of the mentor I helped out with for the first few months. I’d highly recommend starting that way, I learned more in a few days with him than I did in all my book learning prior.
