Brown stain found at the base of the pipe, this typically occurs when there is deferred cleaning.
There was also a foul odor that smelt a bit like pennies. I suspect this occurs at those times of the month when there’s a lot of fluid leaking down from above.

Holy crap. Were they trapped? I sure wouldn’t want to stay put and watch debris maybe hit the corner of my house.
The air handler filter compartment contained two filters, one of which was fixed (sealed in) and had no access for maintenance or replacement.
Had one yesterday where the owner didn’t know an additional filthy filter had been sucked up into the evaporator coils. 3 yr old unit was screwed up.
I think the installer wanted to ensure some repeat business, perhaps? Good find!
Hey, at least it looks like they used Gorilla Tape, probably to ready it for the inspection. 
Then it was the only thing they did to ready this house for the inspection, lol.
Yup, since 2008, almost done. Just need to add one more piece.
