That’s something I’m not sure I’d have a problem with. The electrical conduit (and presumably the ground connection) need to be prepared for rain and snow. If so the hose spigot is not a big deal. Unless of course you’re concerned about the siding’s interface with the hose bib or how one might change the bib over time.

Not to mention that in most cases a hose would be connected to the spigot. Of course most hose connections leak a little but the conduit wouldn’t see any more water than it does during a good rain anyway.

That chimney brickwork is FUBAR. The wire is a nice touch also.
So now the question begs, is that an attempt at a repair or was it build like that?
