Water temperature is below super heater water at 212 degrees which is also good. It is essential to avoid high water temperature and pressure in a water heater tank.

This is a picture of a kitchen sink area in a remodeled home. you can see where the older copper and iron plumbing has been removed and replaced with CPVC. The wall is being prepped for a moisture protective coating ,after they finish removing the moisture from inside the block wall. No P-trap has been installed yet.
In the picture of the air conditioning system I learned. How the inside and outside units work together. By way of moving Freon from one unit to the other, the air blower moving warm air over the radiators to remove the heat and blow cold air back into the home.
Roof vent play a major part on a house. They could be for used for attic air to escape. They could help eliminate gases from the use of toilets. Could also work to help high energy furnaces. There are several roof vents. A ridge vent, box vent and pipe vent. If a new inspector is qualified to check roofs, they should look around the pipe boots for wear or dry rotting around pipes.
Sup pumps play a major roll in basements and crawl spaces. Sup pumps should be inspected thoroughly by turning on or lifting lever on the pump. Avoid getting shocked by electric wiring or outlets. Not having a good sump pump could cause a lot of damaged to basements that may be finished. If applicable have a battery back up in case of electrical shortage.
This jacuzzi spa bathtub was installed on a second story property. While prepping the plumbing installers realized not enough pressure or heat was making its way to the tub,upon further inspection the water heater and tpr valve was no longer operating due to age.
On a exterior inspection, making sure the gutters are securely connected and downspouts properly facing. chimney wall infractions are another observed item, aswell as electrical masts roofing material and any missing pieces would be observed. siding and fascia is another area of observation.
In this image flexpipe was used instead of the proper plumbing. This can cause leaking problems later and should be changed to the proper type of plumbing. Would recommend a licensed plumber to further evaluate the issue and correct the problem.
Anti-tipping devices are brackets attached to free standing ranges to prevent them from tipping over. They are attached to the rear leg or attached to the rear of the oven. If no anti-tipping device is installed, the inspector should recommend that one be installed.
A water heater should have a TPR valve discharge installed for safety reasons. The purpose of the feature is to direct the water/steam when the water over heats in the tank. In this picture the discharge is too short. It should discharge into an overflow pan. The way it currently stands is not acceptable.
There are many different ways an intruder can get into your home. There are some precautions you can take to make your home a less easy target. It is not advised to have a doggy door. Burglars can stick their hand through to unlock the door. Another thing that is advised is to have motion sensor lights on the exterior. When you are not home it is advised to leave some lights on.

Having never dealt with cisterns I found it interesting to learn they can be made out of concrete, reinforced concrete block and wood along with metal and fiberglass which I figured were the most common. It was also interesting to learn they were used to store water for fire prevention.
This electrical panel is behind a refrigerator in a converted laundry room. I explained to the homeowner that it was not a good idea for me to move the fridge, not only because of all the stuff on top but also the risk of damage to the tile floor or the fridge itself. He gladly moved it (which did in fact leave marks on the tile) and I explained the risks and safety hazards involved in blocking the panel.
