A quick question. I did a one year warranty inspection and the house has two AC units the same size. Both have 35 amp breakers. One is wired with a #10 wire and the other is #12. The system requires a minimum 23 amp service. I want to confirm that I am correct that the #12 wire should be changed to a #10.
Kurt, if both labels show a minimum circuit ampacity of over 20, then a #10 cu wire is required, as I understand it.
