Are you better off than you were 4 years ago

Be honest, you didn’t really think. Not your forte.

Isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black!

I gave you both the opportunity to use your brains. I got the response I expected.

. . and your evasion showed such deep thought! People who answer a question with a question haven’t applied any thought to the question!

Fine. I’ll throw you a bone.

My household spends less on groceries than we did four years ago, so in that respect, I am better off.

More evasion. We are all sorry to hear of your divorce. Better luck next time.

This was easily predicted.

Do you have less living in your household?

Have you gone on a water diet?

Just how are you spending less when food prices have increased by around 25.8% since 2020!

GTFO… Of course WE are ALL better off, the economy is good, interest rates have fallen, WE ARE THE FUCK OUT OF AFGHANISTAN… THANK YOU PRESIDENT BIDEN. The markets are up. Pull your head out of your ass and smell the roses for once?

Didn’t your daughter get married, purchased her own home and moved out?
Didn’t your son go off to college?
Don’t you live on a large piece of property, and likely enhanced your “gardening area”?

C’mon dude! You’re sounding more and more like the Harris/Walz twins every day.
You’re even beginning to ‘cackle’ when you talk!!

Did you move down to the states?

Is this some magical thing that has transpired since May of this year? What is your secret? On a diet? Empty nesting? Growing your own food?

So while the latest 2.2% annual food inflation rate for March 2024 seems more manageable, it doesn’t negate the cumulative 25.8% increase in grocery prices since that November 2020 election. And it remains to be seen if that downward trend in food inflation will continue in the coming months.

There ain’t a damned thing he can do about his own communistic, liberal government, (he voted for it), so he butts his nose in where he has no clue other than what other liberal communists post, simply so he can feel like he knows what he’s talking about to fit in with his comrades!!

He must be calculating his personal “Shrinkflation”… Buy a half-pound of hamburger instead of a full pound for his Hamburger Helper. It’s the same or slightly cheaper!!

Yes. But Robert refused to put any metrics on his question, so does having less people in my household disqualify my statement somehow that we are spending less on groceries than we did 4 years ago?

She moved out 12 years ago or so.

Yes. And my middle child also moved out into her own place about 3 years ago. Empty nesters after raising 3 great kids!

We do, but you won’t find a garden on our property, unless you consider the hay I bale and sell as a “garden.” We tried vegetable gardening when we were younger. Way overrated in my opinion.

Winner winner, chicken dinner! Does empty nesting not count towards having a lower grocery bill in our household?

So you knew you were providing a deceitful answer in order to make an argumentive point.
