Trump should have addressed her solely as the “Border Czar” the entire debate to hammer home that it’s her fault… because it is. Someone should have coached Trump to do this.
Kamala should have stayed away from the felonies thing. We all know that a guy doesn’t go 77 years without so much as a parking ticket, then all of a sudden (when he runs against Biden), get charged with 91 felonies. We all know that is weaponization. Someone should have coached Kamala to avoid bringing that up.
Yep! She acted like a winner. The hosts also set the table nicely for her when she needed a boost, which built her confidence. She knew they had her back when needed. Trump should have been ready for that.
And they both should realize PA is not a one-dimensional state, Fracking is not the only issue they are concerned about. PA, NC and WI is where the magic will happen for one of them.
Was texting with a friend during the debate and we laughed about the poor folks that have to try and reign in Trump before the debate… talk about a tough job! Honestly, the way he is has gotten him far and is usually an asset. Unfortunately, when running for President it can be a liability.
You could have handed him the script and he would have still taken the bait from Harris. I’ll bet Putin was one of the 70 odd million viewers that witnessed Trump self destruct last night… There is no logical scenario where Trump wins in November, not after this political debacle.
The moderators overall did a great job. They let the little things slide and only interjected on the outrageous lies that have zero basis in fact, i.e. pet eating and abortion after full-term birth. They did not make the debate about themselves and they are definitely not the reason Trump got schooled.
If we did a study on the typical independent who voted for Trump in the last two elections we might find that in 2016 a good reason was that Trump was an unknown who guaranteed to ‘MAGA’ and that he wasn’t Hillary, valid reasons which were confirmed with the narrowest of victories, making a good call for out for the typical 2016 independent voter.
Now we arrive at 2020 and many fewer independent’s show up for Trump this time but it was enough to win if Joe Biden didn’t steel the election… but now it is 2024 and Trump even admits he lost in 2020, making everyone who supported him in the ‘big lie’ accomplices and after last night’s debate failure it appears that he has little hope of winning in 2024… So, if Donald Trump loses and I an independent voted for him, does that also make me a loser too?
The funniest part of the debate was when that idiot reporter said “No, that isn’t true, we checked with the city manager and he said they aren’t eating pets.”
LOL. What do you expect him to say? Might be the dumbest thing ever said at a political debate and it wasn’t said by anyone on stage.
