Attention New York Home Inspectors:


I am writing to invite you to any one or all three of the New York educational home inspection meetings coming up at the end of June. These educational meetings are open to all. You don?t need to be a member to attend. Everyone is welcome.

1. Lower Hudson Valley on June 28th. Our speakers will be pest and wood destroying organism trainer Barry Stangel. Barry will be teaching us about a new technology used for home inspection services, infrared scanning and how to use it to inspect structural, faulty wiring, breakers, fuses, plumbing problems, termites, and other insects.

2. Long Island on June 30th. Our speaker will be Dr. Bill Merrell of the Merrell Institute. Bill teaches a NY State approved home inspection course. Bill will be teaching us how to do a better home inspection and will also be giving us an update on the NYS inspection legislation.

3. Albany on July 9th. Our speakers will be Kevin Williams, President of the NY Capitol Region Chapter of NACHI, John Bowman, Executive Director of NACHI, Gerry Beaumont, Education Chairman of NACHI, Lorne Steiner, NACHI's Director at Large, Nick Gromicko, NACHI's Janitor, an Osborn, NACHI member on NY Home Inspector Legislation.
