Did an inspection on a 1920 carriage house in St Petersburg yesterday and I feel pretty confident in saying that there is a buried oil tank on-site (probably empty). Is there any state number or authority to call on these to confirm and/or remove? I know the whole ‘call a licensed EPA contractor’ but good luck finding one for residential. I called Adams Tank and Lift here locally but they only do commercial and knew of nobody who does residential tanks. Just curious as the realtor was asking who to call to remove and I didn’t have a straight answer.
