Warning!!! Wells Fargo scam alert! I received a robocall last night stating that they were calling because I hadn’t activated a business credit card that they had sent me. Caller ID showed the call being from 916-569-6732. The instructions were to call 800-803-9783 with my account number and SSN. I was concerned that someone else had applied for a card in my name. I did some searching online and found that this scam goes as far back as 2012. When calling your bank customer service, only call the number on the back of your card.
