In 2024, the IDFPR updated their Administrative Rules (Section 1410) to make the following changes to continuing education requirements for home inspectors.
Online/distance education courses that are interactive, but not in real time, in which students interact with a learning management system do not require the final exam to be proctored.
Illinois members taking an InterNACHI® course can simply progress through the course in its entirety, and their credits will be submitted to the state three to five business days after successful completion.
