I just bought a used retrotec blower door and it smells strongly of cigarette smoke, so I was wondering what is the safest way to clean the blower door curtain?

Seems to me you should be contacting the Manufacturer regarding the care and maintenance of their product.
Soap and water. Air dry.
I’ve never cleaned mine. I would actually be surprised if you get that smell out since that system is used under pressure it may be impregnated in the material now.
