Discounted E&O from FREA

I cannot speak for Chris, but as I understand it, the discounts were cut across the board. It is association non-specific. I do not believe FREA had anythin to do with it, but is boung by the rulings of the carriers they deal with.

Let's wait for Chris' response.

If it is gone, lets remove it from the benefits page. Hope it still is there!

I should just let Joe answer for me more often…

he did great.

The discounted E&O rates end September 1st, 2005.

It is for ANY and EVERY group that FREA has ever offered a discount.

So it is not association, franchise or group specific.

It was either drop the discount and face a 7% increase or keep the discounted rates and face a 25-28% increase…

after doing the math - the better “deal” for our members was to take the lower rate increase and drop the group discounts…

We did get one huge concession back from them though…

We got the deductible back down to $1,000.00

So there is some good news to go with the bad.

Call me with any questions, or your representative here at FREA.

Sincerely,

Sincerely,

Mr. Kelly,

you policy expires in October so it will not apply to you.

The deadline is for “new” people signing up with FREA.

Renewals such as yourself will be receiving the renewal application in the mail shortly with the new rates.

Sincerely,

Good news or not, I believe that this no longer qualifies as a “special benefit” for NACHI members and should not be advertised as such on our website as of September 1.

if you are thinking of getting E&O coverage, don’t delay!

The discounted rate for NACHI members who either have had insurance for a year elsewhere or have completed 250 inspections or more are eligible for the discounted rate.
If you are "new" you will come in at the "candidate level" coverage of a $500,000 policy limit and a cost of $3,550.00

The discounted rates are:
$1,000,000 coverage normally: $3,295.00 discounted rate: $2,975.00
$ 500,000 coverage normally: $2,995.00 discounted rate: $2,695.00
$ 300,000 coverage normally: $2,795.00 discounted rate: $2,525.00

These rate are only good until September 1st.
At that time the discounts disappear for every association, franchise or group that had one with FREA in the country.

The new rates will also go into effect as well on September 1st.
$1,000,000 coverage will still be $3,295.00
$ 500,000 coverage will go to: $3,195.00
$ 300,000 coverage will go to: $2,995.00
candidate level coverage ($500,000 policy limit) stays the same at $3,550.00

If you currently have a policy with FREA and you have a renewal date after September 1st - these will be your news rates when you get your renewal application mailed to you 6 weeks prior to your renewal date.

We very much appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you around the country either at a local chapter, state meeting and the "big one" in Florida early next year.
If you have any questions, please contact your representative here at FREA.

Gentlemen and Ladies,

As of Friday August 26th, 2005; my employment with FREA ended due to company restructuring.

As I was told it is a company reorganization.

It was a pleasure to meet and work with many of you. And to all of the many friends I made as well.

I enjoyed working in your industry immensely.

I wish you all the best!
