Door trip hazards

The ones calling that a trip hazard will continue to call it that. For me, I call it protecting the improperly flashed door sill that will cause damage.

The height of the step is not the problem it is the projection of the bricks.

Well, a bigger picture from the OP would help give us the whole picture. This brick house looks to have a stone patio and not a landing.
