I was just curious how other inspectors go about pricing Duplex inspections if hired by an investor? If I were to charge $350 for a typical inspection, would it be ideal to charge the $350 for each address or give them a deal for the 2 together? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
I would go by address as it is twice the work and documentation.
I go by total square footage plus $75 per unit. Works for 2-3-4 units.
2 inspections double the price.
Im with Stephen. normal price by sq ft plus a little more for the extra appliances. One roof, one exterior, one foundation. it should not be double you normal price or you wont get the job.
I would do double price with a discount since they are at same place.
