Some of the young do not know what a tube is

Also knowledge of some of the basics ie "what is HV" and what is a capacitor

As time goes on we have to get this knowledge out to this young kids

A tube is probably referring to a fuse and HV = High Voltage (over 600 volts,) and a Capacitor:

One that has saved me from sever difficulty a couple of times is always use left hand to throw the disconnect.





Reason if the disconnect cover for some reason decides to become airborne it goes over your left shoulder.
When this happens sometimes hearing in the left ear has a distinct ringing for a while .
