Ah, come on… that tubing has to be rated up to at least 65F.

It’s ok as long as it actually drains to the aquarium.

The owner showed up & was very proud of all his DIY stuff for the sale.
He told me the infamous line:
Well! It’s been there for years & has never been a problem.
