Fasteners in treated lumber

Not sure if this would be the proper section to share, but I posted a blog on my site today in which I share pictures of the corrosive effect treated lumber has on uncoated nails.

Sure, it’s a shameless plug for my blog, but I thought I share in case anyone would like to use the pictures for examples of “why you shouldn’t do this.” I wish I could find the screws that were removed after a year in the same treated lumber–I don’t think a single one came out without breaking. Kicking myself for not taking pictures of that!

Post this on your blog: http://www.nachi.org/home-inspectors-evaluating-problems-with-fasteners.htm I tried for you. Not sure if I succeeded.

Thanks Nick–appreciate you letting me post your work like that.

The are for InterNACHI members to use on their blogs and website.

All yours!
