I admit, I have been very fortunate in my business and have never had to cold call sales agents and drum up business. However, due to Covid 19, my bread and butter contract has been on hold and I am relying more on home inspections. I have never liked “cold calls / selling my services” but I feel like it is time I start reaching out and offering my services. Is it advisable to contact Brokers rather than individual Agents? Start with Agents then move to Brokers? Skip the phone calls all together and sponsor events? How does a one man operation compete in a market that is becoming over saturated with franchise companies and new inspectors? What is your success story?
