When you see green spots on the bottom of the sink , this is do to the copper


from pipes called flux. is this in the water itself when it comes out in other words can someone drink from this faucet without harm of the green stuff.


is this what it is called anyway.

Flux is an acidic cleaning agent used to clean the copper prior to soldering the connections. It is supposed to be cleaned off after the connections have been made.


Copper corrosion is also similar in color to flux.

I'm not quite sure what your question is.
